In order to make you feel more comfortable, while riding protected, we designed our chest-protectors with ADS, a material 175% more breathable than cotton, making you forget that you are wearing a chest protector. The heart of RXR chest-protectors is its air-bladder and ASA technology. Its multiple inter-connected chambers allow air to pass back and forth between chambers through restricted air passages that absorb the energy from a fall or impact (from bike, object, ground) before it reaches your body. Testing:

The comparative tests (performed by the CRITT laboratory (www.critt-sl.com) were performed on 3 different types of chest-protectors:
  • Hard-plastic with a classic chest-protect
  • Foam-based body-armors
  • RXR Protect chest-protectors using ASA technology
For the tests, the products were placed on a table equipped with various sensors measuring the shock absorption and resistance capacities of the products. A strength/power of 12 KJ was applied, from different heights/angles, to the products and the results show that the A.S.A. system has 5 times more energy absorption/resistance than hard-plastic chest-protectors and 10 times higher than foam-based products. Absorption time and distribution of the impact on the whole area of the product is clearly higher.
